Pastor Joseph C Manaway
Servant of God. Son. Brother. Minister. Uncle. Nephew. Friend. These are the aspects that make up Joseph C. Manaway – the fourth of five children born to Dr. Robert L. Manaway, Sr. and First Lady Overseer Jessica Perine Manaway. Describes self as a “true Churchboy” having done everything from plumbing to preaching in the house of God.
Joseph accepted the call to preach on Sunday, March 12, 2006 – and preached first public message on Sunday, August 20, 2006 entitled “I Had It, I Lost It, I Want It Back!”
On October 3, 2008, he received an Associate of Science Degree in Recording Arts and Performance from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. In the summer of 2012 he graduated from University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. He is currently a student at Grand Canyon University where he is pursuing a Master’s of Science (Psychology) in Professional Counseling. After which, his aspirations are to go on to obtain a Ph.D in Psychology with an emphasis in Cognition and Instruction.
Joseph was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel on September 20, 2009 and on February 26, 2012 he was ordained and charged as the Young Adult Ministry Pastor of the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Seattle, WA.
In March 2013, Pastor Manaway answered the call of God again, and relocated to Las Vegas, NV & now serves as the Youth & Young Adult Pastor of the Second Baptist Church under the direction of Senior Pastor Donald E. Chaney. Pastor Manaway is also working on his first book entitled When Life Happens, set to be released in 2016.
